Scotty's Audio & Video has been in business for over fifty years. Leo C. Scott, a.k.a "Scotty", began his entrepreneurial adventure after his return from WWII, opening up a parts and repair shop for electronics and home appliances.
It wasn't long before customers started noticing the "Scotty's Difference." Established a family run and family oriented business, the Scotty's Difference placed customers within the family, building strong and caring relationships with each individual.
After several years of operating independently, Scotty was approached by a regional parts and electronics retailer, Lafayette, and in turn began a franchise agreement. This opportunity provided Scotty access to well branded and packaged parts for his parts and repair services, as well as product to sell, such as CB radios, small home appliances, and a product mix that would be a nostalgic version of Radio Shack.
For over fifty years Scotty's has remained strong, and now continues to serve the new river valley in two locations.
